Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Chateau Hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was perfect for exploring the town, and the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff added to the charm. However, the room was on the smaller side and could have been cleaner, which was a bit disappointing. The dining experience left much to be desired, but the off-street gated parking was a convenient feature of the hotel.
The location of The Chateau Hotel was excellent, conveniently situated a few blocks from Bourbon Street and French Market/Jackson Square. However, the accessibility with a car was a bit inconvenient, requiring parking in a charged lot and walking with luggage. The rooms were a bit dark, small, and lacking amenities like a TV and hairdryer, despite being newer. On the positive side, the hotel was very close to all-night bars and party spots, making it ideal for those seeking nightlife.
My stay at this hotel in Mexico was a budget-friendly option for an overnight stay. Despite not matching the pictures, the room I got had no windows, was tiny with slow drainage in the sink, shelves falling off the walls, and slow WIFI. The bathroom was cramped, the shower needed cleaning, and I couldn't control the room temperature. Additionally, noise from adjacent rooms was noticeable at 5 am.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, putting me right next to the French Market and Bourbon St, making it easy to explore. However, the room I was given was far from what I expected – no windows, tiny space, and various maintenance issues. The lack of control over room temperature made it uncomfortable, and the cleanliness was a major concern. The hotel seems to be facing some significant issues with room amenities like fridges being removed, which adds to the overall hassle.
